Colors of Quartz Jewelry

Quartz, though usually clear in composure, may also occur in a variety of colors, ranging from a light, transparent rose to smoky brown. An even more rare (and very desirable) variation of Quartz is the “Tiger’s Eye” Quartz, in which brown iron reacts with the mineral to create the design of a feline’s eye emerging from the brownish-yellow background of this dark Quartz stone.
